Every summer, so many terraces open and most of the time they resemble one another. But for the first time in a very long time, I was truly impressed with the concept and execution of the this new terrace located in the W Hotel. The concept behind their terrace is to travel the world through creative cocktail and food. In fact, they have 10 different cocktails representing 10 different destinations.

Even their menu barcode fits their concept ha!ha!:

We started our adventure off with two different cocktail:

• ULTIMATE IBIZIAN SANGRIA: Red Wine, Soho, Peach Schnaps, St-Germain, Martini Prosecco
• ROD FAI MAI TAI: Havana Club 3 yr., Havana Club 7 yr.,Strega, Mango Juice, Lemon, OrgeatSyrup, Fuji Peach Bitters

The Sangria of course represents the W hotel located in Ibiza whereas the Mai Tai represents the one in Bangkok. Both drinks were super refreshing but I have to say the Mai Tai was the star of the show. It looks exactly like a drink you would get in a tiki bar at a tropical destination and actually has quite some alcohol into it ha!ha!

As for the food we tried out 3 of their dishes:

• GRILLED SHRIMP + CURRY SORBET: Thaï marinated shrimp, curry coco sorbet, lime, coriander
• FRIED EGGPLANT: Chili peppers, Szechuan peppercorn, tamari
• BRAISED PORC TOSTADAS: Pico de gallo, avocado crema, hibiscus onion, chili pepper, lettuce and tomatoes

Everything was so good! The shrimps is one of the best shrimp dishes I've ever had. So original with that curry sorbet but that fried eggplant. That fried eggplant is the best fried eggplant we have ever ate!!!

Considering the fact that we still aren't able to travel the world freely, this is a great way to escape and feel on vacation. I definitely recommend you try it out!
