Top 5 Coffee Shops North of Montreal

1. Les Allumé(e)s, 34 Blainville Ouest Street.

Located near Cegep Lionel Groulx, this is my go to spot. Perfect place to grab a coffee and work/study. With all it's inspirational quotes on the walls, you always feel so creative. There are many options for breakfast and lunch plus gluten free options as well.

2. Le Cheesecake Bar, 274 Boul. Sainte-Rose.

What a better way of encouraging yourself to keep working then with a little cheesecake. For anyone with a sweet tooth, this is the place for you. LCB is a coffee shop located in Sainte-Rose and their speciality are none other than: cheesecakes. With more than 20 different flavors your are sure to find one you'll love (or maybe more).

3. Deux, 2 Turgeon Street.

Coffee by day and bar by night. Great spot for breakfast, lunch and diner. The "pot de caramel" and the white chocolate, caramel and macadamia nut cookie are to die for. Their menu is seasonal and changes quit often so you never get bored.

4. La Station Organique, 408 Boul. Adolphe Chapleau.

This is a coffee shop/juice bar that serves mostly vegan food. Cutest spot ever! Serve many different juices and juice cleanses. Great spot for breakfast and light lunch. They serve different kinds of toasts (nut butter toast, avocado toast...), açaii bowls, buddha bowls... It is a farm to table feel. They always use fresh ingredients and the menu changes frequently!

5. Le Petit Dep, Carrefour Laval.

A foodie and coffee lover's heaven. First of all, the shop sells so many different local products but also sells many international products that are very well known in their countries (such as Lakrids licorice). The store itself is cute and cozy. For the food, they serve baked goods such as croissants, chocolate croissants, tarts and other pastries. Also, they serve great lunch options such as pastas, sandwiches and more. Of course, they also serve their specialty coffees. They have a reserved area in the middle of the shopping mall were you can sit and enjoy you meal and can even work if needed.
