The Perfect Valentine's Day Getaway

Looking for something fun to do with your loved one for Valentine's Day? I have the perfect idea for you: A romantic getaway in the Old Port with a dinning experience. Or if you want to enjoy dinner at another restaurant, you can also check out their Valentine's Day package which includes,

  • 20% off your stay
  • a bottle of wine
  • a cheese platter
  • breakfast in bed

I had the chance to try out the private dinning experience version (since restaurants were still closed) of the package at L'Auberge du Vieux-Port, but now you can experience the real dinning experience + a night stay at a beautiful hotel! You can check out their full list of current packages available right here.

L'auberge du vieux-port is a beautiful hotel located on the Saint Lawrence River. It is at a walking distance from literally everything in Old Montreal including: museums, coffee shops, restaurants and the Old Montreal Skating Rink!

As for dinner, we tried out Pincette Lobster Bar which is located right in the hotel! This restaurant offer you a East Coast of Canada experience with its main focus being on lobster but also offering a multitude of other delightful dishes. For appetizers we had:

  • Fresh tuna tartare, grapefruit supremes, fresh mint, black sesame seeds and green salad
  • Cromesquis of crustaceans, roasted red pepper coulis and walnuts

The main dishes we tried out were exclusively for the in-room dinning menu but from previously having tried out Pincette, I can confirm that anything on their menu will be delightful. Here are some images from my experience at Pincette from last summer!

As for breakfast, we got to enjoy a relaxing breakfast in bed! Does anything scream romantic getaway like a cozy breakfast in bed? With the beautiful view on the old port nothing can beat it! We got to try out the yogurt parfait and the Gourmand plate which includes two eggs, bacon, homemade ham, sausages, baked beans and toast

Don't forget to encourage local for Valentine's Day,

Safe Travels & Bon Appétit!
